Concept builds one of the finest open-deck performance hulls in the world. Sam Nehme saw in it something nobody else had pursued, the chance to take that hull somewhere entirely its own. When he brought the idea to Concept, it was the owner’s son who saw it too and made the case to his father until he agreed. What followed became a partnership that pushed Concept somewhere it had never gone.
Sam Nehme doesn’t design for showrooms. Across custom motorcycles, cars, and now this boat, his clients have always been private individuals commissioning something that doesn’t yet exist. Lucky 13 became the first time that instinct met a hull worth the effort.
What came back exceeded what either of them had imagined. Nehme sourced much of what makes Lucky 13 what it is himself, materials and relationships built across an entirely different industry, doors that don’t open on request, only on reputation. That’s not something money alone buys. It’s the kind of access that would otherwise mean commissioning an independent marine designer at a six-figure fee, and still hoping they had the same doors already open that Nehme did.
That collaboration didn’t end when the boat was finished. Since Lucky 13, it has continued. Concept now meets a new tier of client asking for exactly this level of customization.
That is the actual difference between a boat that’s been optioned up and one that’s been designed. Lucky 13 is what happens when real access meets a hull worth the effort. It does not exist twice.

Performance
Quad Mercury 400 Verado outboards, supercharged, inline-six, 1,600 horsepower combined, deliver a top end of 74 mph (64 knots) and a 54 mph (47 knot) cruise. Numbers a dozen boats in this category can match. What can’t be matched is how it was built to reach them, with Digital Throttle & Shift and electro-hydraulic steering tuned so the boat arrives at speed rather than fighting for it.

The helm
Most consoles in this class are assembled from a parts catalog. This one was designed as a single instrument. Dual Garmin GPSMAP 8616 displays and a Mercury VesselView 903 for navigation, radar, sonar, and engine data at a glance, every control mounted on black carbon fiber rather than molded plastic. It is the difference between a helm that was specified and one that was composed.

Cockpit & entertaining
Three bucket seats, sculpted individually and upholstered in suede most builders reserve for a car interior, hold their shape at speed and disappear into the background the moment the engines go quiet. This is a deck designed around the after-party as much as the run out to it. Open, social, unhurried, with nothing about it that reads as an afterthought.

The wet bar
A built-in cocktail mixer, a real cutting board, a stainless sink, and a cooler sized for an entire afternoon. The kind of detail that separates a boat someone uses from a boat someone merely owns.
The engines are the headline. This is what people actually remember.
Cabin
Down a retractable staircase to port, a forward double berth sits at floor level, with an Isotherm refrigerator and battery-powered air conditioning holding the space at its own comfort, at anchor or off the grid entirely. Small enough to be private. Finished well enough that privacy feels like the point.
Not a boat that merely goes fast. One you could disappear on for a weekend.
Head
Aft and fully enclosed, the head is finished to the same standard as everything above it. Stainless sink, mirrored vanity, a wet shower that turns rinsing off after a swim into the least remarkable part of the day, exactly as it should be.
The room most boats treat as an obligation, treated here as a room.
Transom & utility
A reverse-mounted transom keeps the profile uninterrupted while housing everything the boat needs to actually run. Fuel and waste fills, 30-amp smart-plug shore power, a locker that keeps gear exactly where it belongs: out of sight until it’s wanted.
What every other boat in the marina is missing is usually right here. This one just hides it better.
Hardtop & technology
Overhead, the hardtop is its own instrument panel. Garmin closed-array radar and FLIR M232 thermal night vision, standard here in a category where most owners are still asking for them as upgrades. A forward LED light bar and an electric SureShade close the gap between a boat built for the golden hour and one built for whenever its owner actually wants to be on the water.

The hull
Built on the Concept 4400 platform and finished in a custom grey with red accent striping, bold without needing to raise its voice. The quad outboards are painted to match. Three Seablaze underwater lights give it a second presence after dark that most boats simply don’t have. This is the platform Sam Nehme chose to prove what it could become. What it became doesn’t leave the water looking like anything else on it.
The same hull everyone else can order. Finished the way only one owner ever did.
The engines

Trailer & delivery
Lucky 13 travels on its own custom aluminum trailer, built for it at the time of manufacture and used only a handful of times since. The boat has spent most of its life kept in a private, enclosed dry-dock facility rather than on the road. Based in Miami, Lucky 13 sits minutes from some of the busiest deep-water ports in the world. International delivery can be arranged for buyers outside the U.S.
Even the trailer was built once, for one boat.
